Brian Keenan

732-635-1000 X 153		As the founder and President of Build with Purpose, Brian is dedicated to community economic development and promoting school choice. Brian has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Social Work from Molloy College, a Certificate in Community Economic Development from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Business Administration from St. Peter’s College. Brian has 20 years in real estate development and financing, having worked for NJ Community Capital where he was instrumental in expanding the organization’s financial activities, including committing the organization’s first Charter School loan and first Social Enterprise equity investment and expanding the organization’s financial capital basis. Brian’s work has been recognized by NJBiz’ with the 40 Under 40 for outstanding business leadership and the Fathers for Our Children Award by Marion P. Thomas Charter School.


Keith Timko
Director & CEO

732-635-1000 X 152		Keith Timko has been with Build with Purpose since September 2008 and brings over ten years of experience in community development including: involvement in educational reform issues with The Center for Collaborative Education in New York City; experience in leadership development and management programs as the former President of the Leader to Leader Institute (formerly the Peter F. Drucker Foundation); and exposure to policy and community development approaches across the country during his time with Living Cities: The National Community Development Initiative. Keith has a Bachelor’s degree in History and Russian from Rutgers University and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.


Eric Felczak
Project Manager

732-635-1000 X 154		Eric has been working with Build with Purpose since 2009 as a project manager and has been involved in all phases of real estate development. His work includes project feasibility, project finance and property acquisition, and transitions projects from conceptual design through construction close-out. Eric holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and has spent time studying architecture & urbanism at the University of Siena.


Christina Oztan
Director of Marketing and Fund Development

732-635-1000 X 155		Christina has been with Build with Purpose since 2006 and oversees fund development, marketing and special initiatives. Christina also serves on the Board of Trustees of Greater Brunswick Charter School (GBCS), a recognized leader in the New Jersey charter school movement and has chaired the GBCS Facilities Committee. Ms. Oztan received her Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) in 1992 and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University of Buffalo. She is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.


Lauren Bolline

732-635-1000 X 114		Lauren has been with Build with Purpose since August 2009 and has worked to establish the Young Community Development Professionals Association, the Garden State Schools Initiative, the Solar Initiative, and the BwP workshop series. She currently manages Build with Purpose's commercial properties and assets. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Planning and Public Policy from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University in 2010.


Pankaj Jobanputra

He received his Masters degree in City and Regional Planning at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University in May 2011. He currently lives in Philadelphia.


Evan Glanz
General Counsel		Evan is general counsel to Build with Purpose on an outsourced basis by and through E Glanz Associates. E Glanz Associates provides consulting and legal services for real estate development and construction companies. Prior to founding E Glanz Associates, Evan was general counsel for J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc., a regional development and construction company active in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Prior to going in house, Evan worked for two large law firms Gibbons, PC, (formerly Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vechione) in Newark, New Jersey and Brach, Eichler in Roseland, New Jersey. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania and Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden.


Michelle D’Alessio
Accounting Manager		Michelle joined Build with Purpose in November 2009 as a consultant in the Finance Department. She brings over 10 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry where her main focus has been on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing expenses. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Montclair State University and an Elementary Education Teaching Certificate from Kean University.


Rose Grummer-Strawn
Community Organizer

732-635-1000 X 111		Rose is Build with Purpose’s 2nd Jesuit Volunteer through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, a program that sends volunteers into foreign or domestic cities in jobs imparting social good. Hailing from Atlanta, Rose joined Build with Purpose as a community organizer for her one year placement. She graduated in 2011 from Scripps College with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Spanish.


Steve Moschetti

Previously he interned with Build with Purpose as a Wachovia/NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Housing Scholar during summer 2010. Steve graduated Rutgers University in New Brunswick in December 2010 with a degree in Planning and Public Policy. His focus is in Urban Planning and Community Development.


Candace Faunce
Chief Financial Officer

732-635-1000 X 118		Candace joined Build with Purpose in April 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the Build with Purpose team, Candy was the CFO for New Jersey Community Capital for 10 years where she was responsible for managing the financial and risk assessment processes as well as the capital structure of the organization. She previously worked as a Senior Accountant in public accounting where she was responsible for the planning, supervision and completion of accounting, tax and audit engagements. She has extensive background in nonprofit accounting and auditing including evaluating and improving internal control systems. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and earned her CPA license in 1982.
